Journaling and its Role in PTSD Therapy
Last week I completed development of a new tool to help wounded warriors in their battle with PTSD. The work book, Journaling and its Role in PTSD Therapy, provides an introduction to the concept of journaling as a therapeutic tool.
PTSD can cripple a life, this tool provides access to a proven method for extracting the causes of PTSD and leads the service member towards a solution. Nearly two years in development, this workbook is based on proven journaling techniques and my own experience in working with wounded warriors at Ft. Bragg.
Currently available through Ft. Bragg's Warrior Transition Battalion and USSOCOM's Care Coalition, it is my hope to make it more widely available soon.

Ten Years of Service
Last month my son left the Army after ten years of service. I am very proud of the work he's done and the sacrifices he's made. By my count he was deployed nine times into hostile territory. He didn't waste any time moving on to the next phase of his life, moving three days after his discharge to start a semester of graduate work at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. His military service inspired him to pursue a graduate degree in public policy in hopes of influencing future government decisions and implementation of policy.
I wish him well in his new pursuits, and continue to feel great pride in his service to his country.
